I’m 5’8. And yeah, it’s generally easier to work with if you have longer proportions. Doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be tall.

Stack if your jeans are skinny enough. Skinny as in they are hugging your calves. Hem with a full break otherwise.
Your legs (and mine) are not long enough to tuck in boots. An exception to this rule is if the pants are super baggy or super skin tight, but it’s always safer to not do the boot tuck.
